Montana, The Last Best Place.

Jacob took me out to dinner in Richmond on Tuesday, and before we went to eat we went exploring. It was a beautiful day, I was so excited to wear shorts! After it cooled down I threw on one of my new favorite sweatshirts Jacob found for me at Goodwill. (I absolutely love Montana and Wyoming).

I'm completely obsessed with these booties I practically live in them. I found them in the Clearance section at Anthropologie while we were in Washington DC. They were marked down to $50 and they were my size! A match made in heaven! 

We are headed back to DC this weekend to attend The Cherry Blossom Festival. I've been looking forward to going ever since I heard about it the first time we were in DC. And this Saturday they are having a firework show for the festival! We will definitely be taking tons of pictures! We also still have a lot of other things to see like the Lincoln Memorial, WWII Memorial, the capital, etc. It's going to be a busy yet wonderful weekend, I hope this weather decides to stick around for it!

Stripes and Sequins.

Hard to believe that I was just wearing this outfit a week ago when we had 65 degree weather, and then a few days later we had 7 inches of snow and it's below freezing. Brr!! Jacob and I have been stuck in the house for the past 2.5 days, even though Jacob was brave today and we ventured out to the store for some food (we tend to eat non-stop when stranded and ran out fast). I was sweating bullets the entire ride and refused to let him take us anywhere else. (Driving on ice and snow is scary!) 

We also decided to take the plunge and get Netflix, (which is amazing and I can't believe we've went so long without it!). So the past few days have been filled with watching every season of The Walking Dead and The Hart of Dixie, (haha we take turns with our picks!).

I fell in love with this skirt when I saw it on Asos website. I really am a sucker for anything that is covered in sequins....I am currently looking for some sequin pants but every pair I like it sold out...meh! I thought I would make it less fancy with this cute striped crop top! Definitely one of my favorite outfits to date....wish I had a holiday party to wear it too...and I wish the weather would warm back up so I would be able to wear it!

This is what I wore over my bikini on a not so warm afternoon at the beach. I am totally in love with this sweater from Therapy. First off, representing the best place on earth, America!! But it is also super soft, cozy, and warm. Perfect for late summer nights. This sweater scream Wildfox Couture to me, except at a much more affordable price. Perfection! I urge you to go grab yours before they are all gone!

And these shorts are the best denim shorts I've ever had. I've had them for about 6 years, and they have been worn so much that they hardly exist anymore haha. They aren't really appropriate for anywhere but the beach now days (even though I might be brave and wear them out elsewhere!)

I can't stop listening to Lana Del Rey these days. This song is one of my favorites, and the video is genius.

While watching a video from J Crew, Frank Muytjens says this is how J Crew puts together outfits, it really stuck with me and inspired me to take risks and try pairing weird things together. While wearing this outfit I accomplished just that. I even got a compliment, the girl said, "I just love you outfit, it doesn't match at all but it goes together perfectly!" Haha. I plan on taking this even further in the future.

Jacob and I went to visit the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks here in Fayetteville, and it is so beautiful. I do recommend going if you are in the area! I loved the bridge pictured above, but there are so many other cool things there. I will definitely go back to take my mom and granny!

Jacob and I are leaving for the beach tomorrow, I'm so excited! Gulf Shores here we come! Meep!

Pink Stripes.

So this is the outfit I wore on Monday while out and about with Jacob. Beautiful weather, sun shining, and not a care in the world. But now, with 5 am work days the weather has changed with my mood!! It's cold and rainy and we are expecting snow tomorrow! How much more crazy can this Arkansas weather be?! I need my 80 degree sunny days back!!! Rain or shine though I am super excited to go to my parents this weekend. I can't wait to see my family I miss them so much!

Jacob and I haven't been up to much, just working and planning our adventures for this summer! (Meep!) I can't wait to escape with him and make more amazing and fun memories! We are definitely hitting up the beach and along with that trip we want to take one somewhere totally different, we have some ideas but do y'all have any suggestions?

Sunday Jacob and I finally got a day all to ourselves. We slept in (well I did), and then we ate breakfast, then took a nap (haha), then we decided we were hungry so we got dressed and went and ate, took some pictures, and then did some shopping! Very relaxing and fun day with my love (and much needed!).

While shopping I bought Season 6 of Gossip Girl (sigh, I miss it so much!) and Jacob bought Season One of Game of Thrones. I'm now hooked on Game of Thrones and I can't wait to watch more tonight when Jacob gets off work!

Jacob was pinned 2LT on Saturday! I am so proud of him!! I will post pictures from that day sometime this week!!!
