Last week was pretty eventful for us! On Thursday we went to the square to grab a bite to eat with some of Jacob's family. It was nice to get out of the house and hang out at the square after dinner while porking down a sprinkled icecream's Blair's favorite!...or mom's who knows? ;)

Then Friday we headed to Fayetteville to eat at my favorite pizza place, Tiny Tim's. Ugh why can't there be one here in Bentonville? I would be there every single week if so! I called up one of my besties, Rosalva, and we got to have dinner then cupcakes (also Blair's favorite, hehe). Then we walked around the square there and caught up! I guess it's not so bad driving to Fayetteville for dinner if I get to spend that time with Rosalva! Earlier that day I caught Blair moving in my tummy, just a tiny bit, she knows when I'm recording and decides to stop instantly. Pretty frustrating! But I did get one little kick, so I was able to show Rosalva, I just loved how excited it made her and Jacob (even though he's seen her kicking and felt her kicking a millions times!)!

Saturday morning Jacob and I woke up and went to the Farmer's Market. I loved it, especially all the beautiful flowers! I wanted to buy them all! It was waaaay hot though so we kept poking into stores near by and I found the cutest necklace for pregnant women. It has months 1-9 on them and you can add a month when you get there. I loved it, and if I wasn't already 6 months along I would have definitely purchased it!

And last but not least, we finally put Blair's crib together! I love it! Her room is slowly but surely coming together. We have the crib, bookshelf, and dresser. Even though the dresser needs repainted, but my dad is going to pick it up next weekend and get started! Meep! I can't wait to get it back!

I didn't know it was possible to feel Blair move around more than she already does, but I have been able to this week! She's a little mover and a shaker. I absolutely love it. I already know I'm going to miss that feeling after birth! But at least I'll have her to snuggle with to make me miss them less!

Blair is the length of an ear of corn this week!! Also she probably weighs 1.25 lbs!

I can't believe it, I'm finally 6 months pregnant! Only 3 more months to go! Ah!! I'm so excited to hold her and kiss her it's all I can think about! I've majorly bumped out in the past 2 weeks, it's impossible to not see that I'm pregnant now days!

This weekend we registered for our baby shower that is happening October 12th, so mark your calendars everyone!! It was overwhelming to see how much stuff we need, and how expensive it is. My mom and granny came up here to help out and make sure we didn't miss anything. They brought along my nephew Kharter, and we had a great weekend!

We went to the square one night to eat dinner at The Flying Fish (delicious!) and then we had ice-cream and sat by the fountain and hung out while Jacob and Kharter ran around like crazy playing hide-n-go-seek (as seen above) and "run" as Kharter likes to call it. Haha, I'm sure you can guess what that consists of! It melts my heart to see Jacob with Kharter, I know he's going to be the best dad. I can't wait to see him with Blair! We also spent both days at the pool, because obviously we have the best pool ever according to Kharter!

We got her crib yesterday and I can't wait for Jacob to put it together! We almost have all of the furniture, it's so exciting!! And while my mom was down she bought the blanket for us that we are going to be using for Blair's comforter(along with some bows, onesies, hangers and a book!)! Eeek! Things are starting to come together, I'm so excited.

Today we had my 24 week appointment, and everything is going good so far! The doctor said I'm measuring right on time and that Blair's heartbeat is strong and great at 140. She also told me I'm carrying low and in my back so that could be one of the causes of my intense back pain. Oh joy!

Blair kicks nonstop, I often wonder if she ever sleeps, Maybe she's a wiggler in her sleep just like her mom! But I wouldn't change it for the world, feeling her move and seeing her move my belly is the most amazing thing ever. I just can't get enough of it.

Blair is 23 weeks this week and she weighs as much as a large mango....which means she weighs a little over 1 pound!

Last weekend was great. We got to go to the Grape Festival with friends, Crystal, Sean, and his family. It was nice walking around and hanging out all night. And I think fairs are the cutest so I love seeing everything!

The next day we got to go to Fayetteville to take pictures of my friend Dawn's beautiful family! After pictures we went and ate at my favorite pizza place, Tiny Tim's Pizza. And then we walked around the square and took some pictures! I have been looking/feeling extra pregnant this week, so that's pretty exciting! Even though, no one seems to notice still. (I think it's because I look huge everywhere..)

While in Fayetteville we stopped by one of our favorite vintage flea market shops and found the perfect dresser for Blair's room! It needs to be repainted really bad but both of our parents said they would be willing to do it, so we bought it! Now she officially has a bookshelf and a dresser! Yay! All we need now is a crib and a rocking chair!

I started work this week. And kudos to all you moms out there that work full-time while being pregnant! I don't know how you do it! I've worked 2 days in a row so far and my back hasn't stopped hurting since the first day. And my thighs are screaming from the second day....cause I had to do the "pregnancy squat" all day because my shorts are too tight to bend over normally....(and I'm talking about my big baggy boyfriend shorts here). Oh I hope it gets better or I might be a trophy wife again soon! (Please no judgement!)

And one last thing that happened of my best friends, Rosalva, bought Blair her very first J Crew clothing....and her first chambray shirt! So cute, I'm dying!

22 Weeks.

22 Weeks! Baby is the Size of a Spaghetti Squash....and probably weighs 1 pound!

After next week I will be 6 months pregnant. How insane is that?! I feel like it was just yesterday that I was telling my mom from Virginia that Jacob and I were going to be parents. The happiness she expressed always brings a smile to my face when I think about it!

Well I feel like complaining a little bit (even though I know I am extremely blessed and that many people have to go through much worse things in this world, but sometimes you just need to vent!)

-The lady at Baby Gap asking me if I want a gift receipt. And I just want to scream at her and say "LOOK AT ME! I'M 5.5 MONTHS PREGNANT! THESE THINGS ARE FOR MY BABY!!" I don't know why that bothered me so much, probably because I'm sick of getting funny looks when I'm in a baby store shopping. Like I'm jumping the gun because my itty bitty bump.

-Which my bump really isn't that itty bitty. NONE of my clothes fit. Nada. I just don't even understand how I fit into some of those clothes before. Agh. It's so frustrating! And most maternity clothes make me want to throw up because they are so (and not in a good way!) Except for the ones I do like, which cost about $150 or more. Meh. I've found some gems at Goodwill though, like the skirt above!

-The thing that's been really bugging me is that I have RH negative blood type. And yes it's very rare. Only 15% of  Caucasian females have this blood type. And lucky me, I have O- which is the rarest blood type of all! Hm. The only reason it bugs me so bad is because if my baby has Positive blood type and somehow our blood mixes, my body will produce antibodies that could really harm my sweet baby. Makes me sick to think about. And because of this I have to get a shot at my 28 week appointment. And for a girl who hasn't taken any type of medicine, except for 1 Zantac (killer heartburn yall), since she's been pregnant. It makes me freak out!

Okay, well that's all for now. Haha. Now let's look at some really positive things happening!

-Blair is moving like crazy these days. She is still the wiggle worm we saw at 13 weeks and now that I can feel pretty much every movement, it makes me so happy! Every time I feel her I can't help but smile!

-I have a half outie belly-button. It's extremely awkward looking....and kinda gross. But Jacob loves it and thinks it's one of the cutest things ever so I'll put it in the positives! My belly has grown, as my dad put it...."looks like you swallowed a cantaloupe!".

-My hair has stopped falling out! YAY!

-This has been the best summer to be pregnant because it's not 100 degrees outside like it has been every summer I can remember. Instead we were having 70 degree weather! AMAZING!

-Also I got the job that every pregnant woman dreams of, a part-time job at Baby/Kids Gap! Meep! I'm so excited to start and meet some new people! (And not to mention that awesome discount for Blair some adorable clothes!)
