Blair is the length of an ear of corn this week!! Also she probably weighs 1.25 lbs!

I can't believe it, I'm finally 6 months pregnant! Only 3 more months to go! Ah!! I'm so excited to hold her and kiss her it's all I can think about! I've majorly bumped out in the past 2 weeks, it's impossible to not see that I'm pregnant now days!

This weekend we registered for our baby shower that is happening October 12th, so mark your calendars everyone!! It was overwhelming to see how much stuff we need, and how expensive it is. My mom and granny came up here to help out and make sure we didn't miss anything. They brought along my nephew Kharter, and we had a great weekend!

We went to the square one night to eat dinner at The Flying Fish (delicious!) and then we had ice-cream and sat by the fountain and hung out while Jacob and Kharter ran around like crazy playing hide-n-go-seek (as seen above) and "run" as Kharter likes to call it. Haha, I'm sure you can guess what that consists of! It melts my heart to see Jacob with Kharter, I know he's going to be the best dad. I can't wait to see him with Blair! We also spent both days at the pool, because obviously we have the best pool ever according to Kharter!

We got her crib yesterday and I can't wait for Jacob to put it together! We almost have all of the furniture, it's so exciting!! And while my mom was down she bought the blanket for us that we are going to be using for Blair's comforter(along with some bows, onesies, hangers and a book!)! Eeek! Things are starting to come together, I'm so excited.

Today we had my 24 week appointment, and everything is going good so far! The doctor said I'm measuring right on time and that Blair's heartbeat is strong and great at 140. She also told me I'm carrying low and in my back so that could be one of the causes of my intense back pain. Oh joy!

Blair kicks nonstop, I often wonder if she ever sleeps, Maybe she's a wiggler in her sleep just like her mom! But I wouldn't change it for the world, feeling her move and seeing her move my belly is the most amazing thing ever. I just can't get enough of it.

17 Weeks.

17 Weeks! Baby is the size of my open hand!

We had our 16 week appointment last week, and we found out what the gender "might" be! Eeep! I hope the Nurse Practitioner was right and that it doesn't change because I've already got it embedded in my mind! Our little baby was squirming and wiggling around like nobody's business. It brings tears of happiness to my eyes every time I see Baby moving around, it's pretty much the cutest thing ever.

Now when it comes to symptoms, in my last post I was bragging about being "normal" again. Not so much anymore. When I have heart-burn it's the worst thing ever. Not even Tums will help me out, oh it's miserable. But it only comes around every once in awhile which is a good thing. 2nd, My hair is falling out like crazy. Jacob saw my huge hair wad (sorry TMI!) after I got out of the shower the other night and he almost fell out. He's pretty sure I will have no hair soon. And 3rd, yesterday morning I woke up with one of the worst Charlie Horses I've ever had. OHH I hate those things, some of the worst pain I've ever experienced! I hope there are no more! And don't even get me started on my tore up gums and sensitive teeth.....wah!

After a week and a half of trying I finally have an appointment up in Northwest Arkansas. But I'm not liking them too much right now. They refused to schedule me an ultrasound for my 20 week appointment (Hello, have you ever heard of being kind and letting a couple find out the gender of their baby at the time that everyone else does?) They said that I couldn't do that because it's my "first" appointment. (No it's my 4th thank you very little). UGH!  I'm so glad that I'm not going to have to switch doctors anymore!

On a positive note, I got an appointment at an ultrasound place in Tulsa, and should know Baby's gender (for sure) next Saturday!!! Meep!

Top: Forever 21, Shorts: Thrifted/DIY (Goodwill), Booties: Anthropologie, Purse: Thrifted (Goodwill), Sweatshrit: Thrifted (Goodwill)

Jacob took me out to dinner in Richmond on Tuesday, and before we went to eat we went exploring. It was a beautiful day, I was so excited to wear shorts! After it cooled down I threw on one of my new favorite sweatshirts Jacob found for me at Goodwill. (I absolutely love Montana and Wyoming).

I'm completely obsessed with these booties I practically live in them. I found them in the Clearance section at Anthropologie while we were in Washington DC. They were marked down to $50 and they were my size! A match made in heaven!

We are headed back to DC this weekend to attend The Cherry Blossom Festival. I've been looking forward to going ever since I heard about it the first time we were in DC. And this Saturday they are having a firework show for the festival! We will definitely be taking tons of pictures! We also still have a lot of other things to see like the Lincoln Memorial, WWII Memorial, the capital, etc. It's going to be a busy yet wonderful weekend, I hope this weather decides to stick around for it!

Top: Forever 21, Skirt: Asos, Shoes: Thrifted (Prada)

Hard to believe that I was just wearing this outfit a week ago when we had 65 degree weather, and then a few days later we had 7 inches of snow and it's below freezing. Brr!! Jacob and I have been stuck in the house for the past 2.5 days, even though Jacob was brave today and we ventured out to the store for some food (we tend to eat non-stop when stranded and ran out fast). I was sweating bullets the entire ride and refused to let him take us anywhere else. (Driving on ice and snow is scary!)

We also decided to take the plunge and get Netflix, (which is amazing and I can't believe we've went so long without it!). So the past few days have been filled with watching every season of The Walking Dead and The Hart of Dixie, (haha we take turns with our picks!).

I fell in love with this skirt when I saw it on Asos website. I really am a sucker for anything that is covered in sequins....I am currently looking for some sequin pants but every pair I like it sold out...meh! I thought I would make it less fancy with this cute striped crop top! Definitely one of my favorite outfits to date....wish I had a holiday party to wear it too...and I wish the weather would warm back up so I would be able to wear it!

Me: Top: DIY, Skirt: American Apparel, Hat: Free People, Belt: Thrifted, Boots: Forever 21, Gun: Dollar Tree
Jacob: Superman Outfit: Wal-Mart

Me, Jacob, and Crystal went out last Saturday for Halloween because Jacob has drill this weekend and we won't be able to celebrate (BOO!). We had a lot of fun last Saturday though! We danced the night away, man I love Halloween!

I was a cowgirl inspired by this Wildfox lookbook. Definitely one of my favorite costumes yet. I felt super cute and fun! Jacob and I made the shirt from stuff we bought at Joanne's Fabric (t-shirt and iron-on letters). It would have only cost $7.00 but we kept messing up the iron-on letters....on the third try we finally got it done! And how stinking cute does Jacob look!?

Hope you all have a safe and fun Halloween! What are you dressing up as?
