Blair is the size of a cabbage this week and probably weighs over 3 pounds!

We just got back from our 30 week appointment and everything is looking good! I'm even a measuring half a week ahead, so we might be having a November baby instead of December! I guess we will just have to wait and see!

This little girl is feisty already. I love it. She loves hearing mine and Jacob's voices, when we read to her at night she just moves around like crazy. She also loves to play (or so I think). When we lightly poke or tap the stomach she does it right back. (She either loves it or hates it, haha. Who knows!) She has been getting the hiccups more and more often which is a great sign, it means she's practicing breathing and making her lungs stronger. She loves to get over in my ribs and jab them with her elbows or feet or her whole body.

Yesterday I celebrated my birthday! Jacob took the day off work and spent all day hanging out with me and tending to my every want and need. It was wonderful! I loved getting an extra day to be with him this week, best gift ever. We had dinner with my best of friends Sunday night. It was so good to see their beautiful faces and catch up. I miss them so much because we barely ever see each other because life tends to get in the way, so it was amazing for us all to finally get to hang out! And I get to see them all again in about 2 weeks because they are coming to my baby shower! Meep! It's going to be the best time ever, family and friends. You just can't beat that!

After grocery shopping yesterday Jacob insisted we stop at the field right across the street from Walmart and snap some pictures with the sunset. That boy just know what he's doing! He got some amazing shots which I will cherish forever!

Only 10 more weeks (or less) until our baby girl arrives. I'm so excited I could burst!

Blair turned 29 Weeks yesterday! She is the size of a Butternut Squash!

I'm starting to think that I swallowed a basketball, but I know that isn't the case because basketballs don't wiggle and poke all day and night like this little baby does! I love it so much. At times it does hurt (she's a strong little booger), but I would rather feel those kicks than nothing. They are just the best reassurance that she is doing okay in there. (Even though sometimes I freak out and think she's moving too much, but the doctor told me it's fine.)

I absolutely hate maternity pants. The leggings (pictured here) and the jeans both have the high band on them. I picked that band because the low band felt like it was going to cut me in half if I bent over or sat down.....(and that was with jeans that were way too big in every other area of the body.) So I went with the high band cause it was comfy in the dressing room. Well, now not so much. Those bands make my belly itch like crazy. It drives me up the wall!!! I can already tell I'm going to miss summer weather and wearing dresses all the time! Even though Fall weather makes it more fun to put outfits together, I can't wait to see what I can come up with!

Also, our baby shower is right around the corner. I'm so excited! I know it's going to be beautiful and so lovely. Our mom's are doing a great job in getting everything prepared and I can't wait to see the final product and celebrate with friends and family! (I kinda feel like I'm having a wedding again haha!) Now if only I could find the perfect dress!

I got my glucose test results and antibody test results and they both came back normal! Yay!

Jacob and I also attended a breastfeeding class over the weekend and I'm so glad I've made the decision to try to breastfeed. And my hospital is so supportive and wants you to succeed so I don't think I will have a problem with success. I will be doing a breastfeeding post soon because I'd love to hear tips and suggestions from fellow breast-feeders! But if you would like to leave a tip now, I would be more than happy to hear it!

28 Weeks today! Blair is the size of a Chinese Cabbage, (whatever that is!) And should be weighing close to 2.5 pounds!

And we are at the beginning of 7 months!!

We had our 28 week appointment today and let me tell you, it was a doozy! We were there for over 2 hours! It started off with me drinking the nasty Glucose Test drink, which tasted a lot like the Orange drink you can get a McDonalds. (Yuck! That can't be good for your kiddos!). So if you like that drink then kudos to you if you ever have to take the test! Also, I didn't know you had to drink it within 5 minutes....but I was a champ and downed that liquid in 1.5 minutes. I just wanted to be done!

Then we had to wait an hour.....and then I got my blood drawn (ouch!). After that we finally got to see the doctor and hear my precious baby's strong heartbeat and was told that I'm measuring perfect! After that I got a shot in my arm for Pertussis (Ouch times 100!) (It still hurts!). Then they informed me that they needed more blood to be able to give me my Rhogam shot. UGHH! So I had to go give another tube of blood (that makes for 3 today!) And then I got to go and get the Rhogam shot in my booty. So I was poked and prodded all day by needles. It was no fun.

I'm just glad it's over with! This week is the mark of us starting to have doctor's appointments every 2 weeks! So I will get to go back on the 30th (the day after my birthday!) and hear my precious baby's heartbeat again. Maybe even talk the doctor into an ultrasound as birthday present? That would be the best!

We have started to get Blair's room all set up, and it's looking so gorgeous and fun. I love it so! I can't wait to be done with it. Only a few more things to go and voila! Our baby's room is complete!

Also, now that the weather has been getting cooler (well it's fluctuating between hot and cold), I've had to be more creative with my outfits. Especially since I can't stand looking frumpy everyday!  Thank the Lord for J Crew who has shown me that you can dress up sweatpants and look like the most fashionable person in the room! I'm living in these ones from Forever 21! I love dressing them up with a button-down or my military vest with a big statement necklace!

Forgot to post these pictures from when Jacob and I spent a couple of days up on Petit Jean  Mountain. It was so nice to escape reality for  a minute and just hang out with no distractions. We had a great time wondering around, exploring, and relaxing.

27 Weeks.

27 Weeks today! Blair is the size of a Cucumber and probably weighs over 2 pounds!

Also today marks the beginning of the 3rd Trimester! I'm excited yet nervous at the same time, because I've heard the 3rd Trimester can be just as hard as the first (here's to hoping that it's not!) I can't believe I will probably be holding my little munchkin in 13 weeks! AHHHH! So exciting!

We got to see Blair on Saturday, and she is still as cute as ever! She was making all sorts of faces, including the duck face. Haha. Oh man, it was super funny and cute all at the same time. She was opening and closing her mouth, pretty sure we saw a tiny smile for a second, she was wriggling around the entire time (this girl is a mover!), and we saw the most precious ankles I've ever seen. Who would've thought baby ankles were so cute!?

My mom and dad took the vintage dresser we bought for her and they are going to repaint it. I'm so excited to get it back I just know it's going to be gorgeous!

Also, no more complaining from me about not having a belly. Cause it's here and it's huge! I love it. I love that people are FINALLY asking me about my baby and giving me baby advice. (Most people seem to hate that....but I'm loving it). And I finally had to throw in the towel and buy some maternity clothing. I got some jeans, leggings, and a dress! So hopefully I will be set for the rest of the pregnancy if I can find some good sweaters, flannels, and over-sized shirts while thrifting.

Next week is the dreaded 28 week appointment where I have to take the glucose screening test, get the Rhogam shot, and the Pertussis Shot. Wah. Hopefully everything goes good, prayers would be greatly appreciated!

Blair is the size of an Eggplant!!

I'm actually 25.5 weeks in these pictures, but I'm 26 weeks this week so we are just going with that!

No denying that this girl right here is pregnant anymore! It's crazy how much my belly grew in a few weeks! I love it! I love seeing my belly grow cause I know that means my little munchkin is growing too.

We have determined that Blair like to be posted up on the left side of my body, since that's where she's always moving and it sticks out a tiny bit more than the right side. Before I even told my mom this theory she was feeling my belly and was telling me that's where Blair is. And then we had a small ultrasound and yep! That's where she is posted up on the left side!

Last week we spent a couple of days up at Jacob's parents cabin up on the mountain. It was nice to escape for those days with my love. We got to relax and play and not worry about anything. It was a much needed mini vacation. We took these belly pictures one morning before we went out adventuring. Jacob has a great eye for great lighting and I'm glad he suggested it because I love these pictures!

This Saturday we have an ultrasound and I'm so excited! This will probably be the last time we get to see her before birth, so I'm going to cherish every second! My mom and dad  are coming up to go with us to the ultrasound, and of course Kharter. (I can't wait to see  what he will think about it!) Also my besties Rosalva and Crystal are coming! Meep!
-Side note, we are not having this done at a doctor's office, we are going to a private ultrasound company to have it done like we did before to find out the gender.-

Oh, and how about that bellybutton! Haha!
