14 weeks, Baby is the size of a lemon!

Can I just say that the 2nd Trimester is Heaven on Earth compared to the 1st Trimester. When I discovered I was pregnant, I thought man this is easy, no sickness, no aches, nothing! That lasted 2 weeks and then bring on the "ALL DAY" nausea. One of the worst things I've ever experienced. Everyday I made the vow that I would never get pregnant again if this is what I have to go through everyday for the rest of pregnancy. Awful, just plain awful!

Okay, well fast-forward 4 weeks from the first day of sickness and I have felt pretty good, goodbye nausea! (So there is still a chance for Baby #2, but let's not get ahead of ourselves here). Now days I feel just like my normal old self, just hungry all the time and the worst thing is that none of my clothes fit (which they haven't fit for awhile now, ahem bloating....). Seriously though, I don't know how I fit in them before, so tiny.

OKAY! I'm done with whining for now! I'm so thrilled to be pregnant, and it's driving me crazy to know the gender so I can start preparing for this little munchkin! What gender do you think Baby is?

If we are friends in real life, on Facebook, or Instagram.....you already know, but if not....we are having a baby! I'm so excited!

Baby Allen will be here in December 2014.

We had our first doctor's appointment on April 30th, when I was at 8 weeks in Virginia. We got to see and hear our baby's heartbeat for the first time and it was magical. I couldn't believe that this was actually happening and that Jacob and I are going to be parents!

We had our 2nd doctor's appointment on June 2nd, when I was at 13 weeks. We had to switch doctors of course because we are back in Arkansas (which is such an inconvenience, and we are going to have to switch again after the next appointment, blah!).....we move too much I've decided!

My mom was able to go to this appointment with us and we got to see our little baby again! Baby was sleeping but Jacob asked the doctor to push my tummy around to wake he/she up. The doctor happily obliged and I swear my heart almost stopped when I saw our tiny baby move his/her arms and then kick his/her legs.....I saw the tiniest and cutest baby foot in that moment and I've been day dreaming about it ever since. I'm so glad Jacob asked the doctor to move Baby around, it was one of the best moments in my life.

I look forward to blogging all about my pregnancy experience and I can't wait to continue once Baby gets here!
