Just Around the Riverbend.

I found this vest while at thrifting about 1-2 years ago. It's so beautiful, I adore every detail of it. It was handmade in California (or so it says on the tag), I think it's awesome that it made it's way all the way in a thrift store here in Arkansas. 

I got off of work early so Jacob and I went exploring around the White River, and I sang Pocahontas, "Just around the Riverbend" very loudly (felt appropriate)....Pocahontas is definitely my favorite Disney movie....along with Beauty and the Beast! 

.....And then went thrifting! (We are the thrifting king and queen over here!) I found a plaid shirt, a cardigan, and some awesome, tacky, velvet, animal-print pants. They are crazy, can't wait to show you all!!

Top: Forever 21, Shorts: Brandy Melville

Jacob and I went to the park the other day and decided to go down to this little secluded creek under the bridge. It was fun just messing around down there and playing in the (freezing) water! 

I absolutely love these Brandy Melville shorts. I have been living in them and a floral pair I recently bought. They are like pajama shorts, super comfy and so cute! 

While it does make me sad that Forever 21 has been ripping off my favorite, Wildfox Couture, it also kinda makes me happy. Because now I can afford more clothes that looks like theirs (like this bullhead tank). I don't feel too bad because I still support Wildfox and buy their things, I am just not able to buy everything I would like (like every single thing they have ever had ever). Does this make sense? 

Hope you are all having a great summer, we are going to be heading to Yellowstone Park in a couple of weeks, I am so excited to explore there!!!

Jacob and I have been talking about getting long-boards for awhile, and so for his birthday we went ahead and took the plunge! And I'm glad we did, we are having so much fun on these things, I feel like a little kid again!! The only downside is I already think I am a professional and can do long hills.....which has been a terrible mistake both times. I've wiped out twice and I have the worst road burn ever, ugh it hurts so bad. I got my shoulder, knee, and wrist real good last night. My shoulder of course is the worst....it hurts to even pull up my hair :( I think I will stay away from the hills for awhile, at least until I have more experience...and some elbow and knee pads!

Jacob is already awesome and hasn't had a wreck yet, wish I was as graceful and cool as him ;) 

We thought we would take some pictures of us just goofing off around the apartment, I was still a little shaky from my wipe-out last night but I got back on it and even went down a few smaller hills! Yay me!
