4 Months.

 

Blair is 4 Months old! Oh my! Where did my tiny baby go? She's growing up so fast it's crazy! Every single day she is doing something new and making new noises. I can't get enough of this mom thing, it's pretty amazing.

We went to the doctor last week and she weighed 14 pounds and 11 ounces, and was 26 inches tall!

For a few days, including the day I took these pictures, Blair was being a little moody. I joke that I already have a teenager on my hands, haha. But really.....smiling one second, crying the next! I think she is having teething pains (my poor baby). She was totally over taking these pictures about 3 minutes in. I'm lucky to have gotten so many good ones though!

So some milestones Blair has hit recently (even though most are mentioned in the Easter post!)

-Officially laughs! It's the best sound I've ever heard!

-She can sit-up by herself for about 20 seconds, and the time is getting longer and longer every day!

-Makes the cutest little baby noises ever.

-Rolls over from back to tummy nonstop, then screams because she hates being on her tummy. (It really is a fun game we like to play, where I roll her back over and she rolls herself back over...ha)

 -Loves bath time, she is my little mermaid!

-Hates riding in the carseat, it's a 20 minute scream fest everytime.

-Loves to stand-up with some help!

-Loves her stand-up (jumper thing?) she just got from her nanny and papa!

-Needs her momma when she's really upset (I LOVE that I'm the only one that can calm her down sometimes).

-Smiles the biggest, gummiest smile every time she sees me (melts my heart!)

-She loves to feel things, she will sit there and pet you or your clothes for the longest time, it's cute!

-Loves to eat smashed up bananas! 

-Had stopped sleeping through the night, which was pure torture because we were so spoiled, so we decided to add cereal to her milk at night....and voila! Back to sleeping through the night! Yay!

-Loves going for walks in her stroller, she coos and looks all around her the whole time. My little explorer!

-Loves being outside period!

-When I lay her on a blanket outside she gets so excited and can't stop kicking, smiling, and cooing!

-She absolutely loves her cousin Kharter (he's 4). I told Jacob that Blair was in love with Kharter, and Kharter said, "I'm in love too! I'm in love with baby Blair!" It was kinda the cutest thing ever.

2 Months.

 

2 Months! It's amazing to watch her grow month to month, week to week, day to day. Every day she is discovering something new and it just makes me melt! Her latest thing is grabbing things. She just started this week. You should have saw her face when she grabbed her toy ball for the first time! She was so surprised and so excited! Ever since then she's been grabbing things nonstop (like her shirt! I couldn't get her to leave it alone haha!) She likes to try to bring everything she grabs to her mouth but doesn't have the best control so she ends up wacking herself in the face. It's so funny, but it makes her mad haha. 

I feel like these pictures express her personality perfectly! 

Tomorrow we go for her 2 month shots, meh. I dread it. Especially since we already had a stint at the doctor last week where she had to get her blood drawn, a catheter, and 2 shots of antibiotics. My poor baby had 2 bad ear infections :( It was definitely the saddest thing I've ever had to experience in my life and I felt so helpless and sad that I couldn't help her.

So what's new with Blair!?

-She can grab things now!

-She loves to stick her tongue out at everyone, and loves it when you do it back at her!

-She's "talking" all the time, it's the cutest!

-Is never still, always kicking and swinging those arms!

-She HATES tummy time, acts like it is pure torture.

-But she loves to sleep on her tummy if she is on someone!

-Has slept through the night the past few nights, lets hope it keeps up!

-Loves bath time! Even loves to play with her rubber ducky!

-Doesn't enjoy car rides too much anymore.

-Loves her play gym, she goes wild when she's under there!

-Loves to eat her hands and fingers!

-Enjoyed being outside last weekend.

-Hates going out to eat with mom and dad. 

-Weighed 11 pounds and 8 ounces last week when we saw the doctor!

Christmas Photobooth!

Christmas was wonderful! I had an amazing time with my family and made some great memories! I found these props at Target awhile back and thought they would be so much fun to play with and take pictures with on Christmas! I was right! And we got some really fun and cute pictures, that I absolutely love! My dad wouldn't join in (lame-o) but my Granny, Mom, Sister, Nephew, and Jacob took lots of pictures!

The last picture is of my granny opening her gift from Jacob and I got her, which is a book full of questions about her life growing up, and it has space for her to answer all the questions! I can't wait to read her answers once she has completed it and learn things about her I never knew!

I got everything I wanted for Christmas and more. My husband and family are so giving and I am truly thankful.
