Blair is 4 Months old! Oh my! Where did my tiny baby go? She's growing up so fast it's crazy! Every single day she is doing something new and making new noises. I can't get enough of this mom thing, it's pretty amazing.

We went to the doctor last week and she weighed 14 pounds and 11 ounces, and was 26 inches tall!

For a few days, including the day I took these pictures, Blair was being a little moody. I joke that I already have a teenager on my hands, haha. But really.....smiling one second, crying the next! I think she is having teething pains (my poor baby). She was totally over taking these pictures about 3 minutes in. I'm lucky to have gotten so many good ones though!

So some milestones Blair has hit recently (even though most are mentioned in the Easter post!)

-Officially laughs! It's the best sound I've ever heard!
-She can sit-up by herself for about 20 seconds, and the time is getting longer and longer every day!
-Makes the cutest little baby noises ever.
-Rolls over from back to tummy nonstop, then screams because she hates being on her tummy. (It really is a fun game we like to play, where I roll her back over and she rolls herself back over...ha)
-Loves bath time, she is my little mermaid!
-Hates riding in the carseat, it's a 20 minute scream fest everytime.
-Loves to stand-up with some help!
-Loves her stand-up (jumper thing?) she just got from her nanny and papa!
-Needs her momma when she's really upset (I LOVE that I'm the only one that can calm her down sometimes).
-Smiles the biggest, gummiest smile every time she sees me (melts my heart!)
-She loves to feel things, she will sit there and pet you or your clothes for the longest time, it's cute!
-Loves to eat smashed up bananas!
-Had stopped sleeping through the night, which was pure torture because we were so spoiled, so we decided to add cereal to her milk at night....and voila! Back to sleeping through the night! Yay!
-Loves going for walks in her stroller, she coos and looks all around her the whole time. My little explorer!
-Loves being outside period!
-When I lay her on a blanket outside she gets so excited and can't stop kicking, smiling, and cooing!

-She absolutely loves her cousin Kharter (he's 4). I told Jacob that Blair was in love with Kharter, and Kharter said, "I'm in love too! I'm in love with baby Blair!" It was kinda the cutest thing ever.

 Blair Nicole. Born on December 10, 2014 at 12:15am. 8 lbs 9 oz. 21 3/4 inches.

Jacob and I headed to the hospital so I could be induced at 5:00am on December 9th. The only thing scaring me about going to the hospital that morning was the fact that I had to have an IV. It's the first one I've ever had and it really freaked me out! Ha, now looking back I think how silly, cause that was the easy part.

About 6 hours into being induced and having many contractions I decided to get my epidural. Now that was even more terrifying than the IV. I hated not being able to move my legs around very well, they felt like they weighed 100 pounds a piece. However, it was nice to no longer feel contractions! I felt pretty good and even ate a couple of orange popsicles and ice-chips (I've never been so thirsty in my life!) I even got in a nap!

But about an hour in the epidural started making me extremely sick and I was throwing up nonstop and my whole body was shaking out of control. It was awful. Such a terrible experience. This went on for about 8 hours. Finally the doctor came to see me and gave me medicine to stop the nausea. After that I felt good for a couple of hours! (Why couldn't they have given me the medicine sooner? I'll never know...)

Soon I started being able to feel part of the contractions. I know I was only feeling some of the pain from them, and it was awful. I couldn't imagine feeling the full blown thing. Finally after 17 of the toughest hours ever it was time to start pushing.

I pushed for 2 hours and 15 minutes. I had Jacob and my mom with me during the whole thing and they helped me out as much as possible by cheering me on, holding my legs up, feeding me ice-chips, and holding their breath with me. I was trying to beat time and have Blair on the 9th, but she just wasn't having it! 15 minutes after midnight Blair finally made her appearance.

I've never seen anything or anyone so beautiful. She was just staring at me, not yet crying, and I have never felt so much joy and love than I did at that moment. All I could do was tell her how much I loved her before the nurses took her away to clean her up and suck everything out of her mouth and nose to get her to have that first cry. When I finally heard it, it was like music to my ears.

Jacob was with her while they were cleaning her up and he got to put her first diaper on. Afterwards he immediately brought her over to me so I could hold and kiss her. It was the absolute best feeling to have her in my arms again and to have Jacob kissing my forehead telling me how proud he was of me and how much he loved his 2 girls. We've never been so happy!

Blair is a week old today, and I am so in love with her, but I have been since that first moment I saw her when she was still in my belly at Week 8. I simply cannot imagine life without her. We've already had so many unforgettable experiences with her and I can't wait to see what the rest of our lives together have in store! She is our sunshine and we can't get enough of her big beautiful eyes, chubby cheeks, soft skin, her little feet, and all of that hair! Just everything....I could go on forever!

I love you Blair!

I'm so excited to share our stories with you all.

Baby is the length of a Banana!

Baby is 20 weeks and 1 day!! We went in for our 20 week appointment yesterday and got to see her again, and got some amazing pictures!! It's my favorite when I get to see her little face, feet, and hands. She's just so lovely.

She's moving like crazy in my tummy these days. I love to feel her wiggling around in there! And I love that Jacob can feel it now too! I love how his eyes light up when I tell him baby is kicking, and he just drops whatever he is doing so he can put his hand on my tummy. It's the cutest.

So, we have her name. And I'm ready to share it with you all! I told my 3 year old nephew, Kharter, her name and he calls her Baby Bear. It's kind of the cutest thing ever. He brings me his old baby toys and says, "Baby Bear can have this.", "Baby Bear needs this, it was mine when I was a baby.", "Is that for Baby Bear?" Haha. I love it! So have you guessed her name yet?

Our Baby girl's name is....

14 weeks, Baby is the size of a lemon!

Can I just say that the 2nd Trimester is Heaven on Earth compared to the 1st Trimester. When I discovered I was pregnant, I thought man this is easy, no sickness, no aches, nothing! That lasted 2 weeks and then bring on the "ALL DAY" nausea. One of the worst things I've ever experienced. Everyday I made the vow that I would never get pregnant again if this is what I have to go through everyday for the rest of pregnancy. Awful, just plain awful!

Okay, well fast-forward 4 weeks from the first day of sickness and I have felt pretty good, goodbye nausea! (So there is still a chance for Baby #2, but let's not get ahead of ourselves here). Now days I feel just like my normal old self, just hungry all the time and the worst thing is that none of my clothes fit (which they haven't fit for awhile now, ahem bloating....). Seriously though, I don't know how I fit in them before, so tiny.

OKAY! I'm done with whining for now! I'm so thrilled to be pregnant, and it's driving me crazy to know the gender so I can start preparing for this little munchkin! What gender do you think Baby is?
