A Magical Date Night.

Last Saturday night Jacob took me on a fancy date to (one of my now favorite restaurants) La Casa del Barco in Richmond. It is so delicious. If you are ever in the area I recommend going there and getting the cheese-dip (without the meat), gobbling up all of the sour cream dip (best thing ever), soaking your chicken tacos in both dips, and then for dessert order some delicious fried ice-cream! I have been craving it ever since we left and I can't wait to go back!

For our date we decided to dress all fancy because why not? It's fun! I just had to take pictures with the graffiti wall that is across from the restaurant, I especially loved the owl, and he matched our outfits so it was perfect! After dinner it was dark out and they had turned on the outside "Christmas" lights. It's so beautiful so of course I needed pictures! I'm so glad we took them because they are definitely some of my favorites now.

This weekend was very magical in different ways, it is definitely one that I will remember forever.

Last weekend we went into Williamsburg to explore with our friend Ryan. It was such a beautiful and fun day. We took in all the beautiful spring flowers, the boys climbed up stalks of bamboo, watched a band march down the street while playing Yankee Doodle, Jacob acted like a Walker (The Walking Dead anyone?), played some baggo, ate some delicious pizza, got a cupcake, and then we went to the outlet mall and shopped! They went a little crazy at the J Crew Factory, haha, who ever knew that boys could be worse than girls when it comes to shopping?

On Sunday we went out to dinner with Ryan and his now fiancee Mandy. We ate at a delicious Mexican restaurant, La Casa Del Barco, and I can't wait to go back! After dinner, we got to experience Ryan propose to Mandy. One of the best things I've ever had the opportunity to experience and I'm so happy that he decided to include us in one of the biggest events of his life! Congratulations you two, we wish you much happiness in your life together!

So I convinced Jacob to enter the J Crew denim contest with me....and while we didn't win I'm really glad we took photos for it, because the pictures of Jacob are now some of my favorite photos I've ever had of him! After making him look through J Crew catalogs and show him ideas for poses he did such an amazing job! I think he's a better "model" than me! And it took me a lot of begging to get him to roll his jeans, but he was a trooper and did it for me. That boy puts up with so much when it comes to my fashion obsession, I don't know how he deals. (Oh and the struggle was even more difficult to get him to post some of the pictures on Instagram....but he did it for me!) Haha, love you Jacob!
