Last Weekend.

Last weekend we went into Williamsburg to explore with our friend Ryan. It was such a beautiful and fun day. We took in all the beautiful spring flowers, the boys climbed up stalks of bamboo, watched a band march down the street while playing Yankee Doodle, Jacob acted like a Walker (The Walking Dead anyone?), played some baggo, ate some delicious pizza, got a cupcake, and then we went to the outlet mall and shopped! They went a little crazy at the J Crew Factory, haha, who ever knew that boys could be worse than girls when it comes to shopping?

On Sunday we went out to dinner with Ryan and his now fiancee Mandy. We ate at a delicious Mexican restaurant, La Casa Del Barco, and I can't wait to go back! After dinner, we got to experience Ryan propose to Mandy. One of the best things I've ever had the opportunity to experience and I'm so happy that he decided to include us in one of the biggest events of his life! Congratulations you two, we wish you much happiness in your life together!

Jacob and I have been talking about getting long-boards for awhile, and so for his birthday we went ahead and took the plunge! And I'm glad we did, we are having so much fun on these things, I feel like a little kid again!! The only downside is I already think I am a professional and can do long hills.....which has been a terrible mistake both times. I've wiped out twice and I have the worst road burn ever, ugh it hurts so bad. I got my shoulder, knee, and wrist real good last night. My shoulder of course is the worst....it hurts to even pull up my hair :( I think I will stay away from the hills for awhile, at least until I have more experience...and some elbow and knee pads!

Jacob is already awesome and hasn't had a wreck yet, wish I was as graceful and cool as him ;) 

We thought we would take some pictures of us just goofing off around the apartment, I was still a little shaky from my wipe-out last night but I got back on it and even went down a few smaller hills! Yay me!
