Top: Forever 21, Shorts: Thrifted/DIY (Goodwill), Booties: Anthropologie, Purse: Thrifted (Goodwill), Sweatshrit: Thrifted (Goodwill)

Jacob took me out to dinner in Richmond on Tuesday, and before we went to eat we went exploring. It was a beautiful day, I was so excited to wear shorts! After it cooled down I threw on one of my new favorite sweatshirts Jacob found for me at Goodwill. (I absolutely love Montana and Wyoming).

I'm completely obsessed with these booties I practically live in them. I found them in the Clearance section at Anthropologie while we were in Washington DC. They were marked down to $50 and they were my size! A match made in heaven!

We are headed back to DC this weekend to attend The Cherry Blossom Festival. I've been looking forward to going ever since I heard about it the first time we were in DC. And this Saturday they are having a firework show for the festival! We will definitely be taking tons of pictures! We also still have a lot of other things to see like the Lincoln Memorial, WWII Memorial, the capital, etc. It's going to be a busy yet wonderful weekend, I hope this weather decides to stick around for it!

I'm Wearing- Dress: Anthropologie, Necklace: J Crew, Heels: Forever 21
Jacob's Wearing- Suit: H&M, Shirt: J Crew, Shoes: Thrifted (Goodwill)

Last Saturday night Jacob took me on a fancy date to (one of my now favorite restaurants) La Casa del Barco in Richmond. It is so delicious. If you are ever in the area I recommend going there and getting the cheese-dip (without the meat), gobbling up all of the sour cream dip (best thing ever), soaking your chicken tacos in both dips, and then for dessert order some delicious fried ice-cream! I have been craving it ever since we left and I can't wait to go back!

For our date we decided to dress all fancy because why not? It's fun! I just had to take pictures with the graffiti wall that is across from the restaurant, I especially loved the owl, and he matched our outfits so it was perfect! After dinner it was dark out and they had turned on the outside "Christmas" lights. It's so beautiful so of course I needed pictures! I'm so glad we took them because they are definitely some of my favorites now.

This weekend was very magical in different ways, it is definitely one that I will remember forever.

I'm wearing- Top: J Crew, Pants: Abercrombie and Fitch, Earrings: Forever 21

Jacob and I headed to the capital of Virginia on Saturday. We loved Richmond, so much to do and see! Definitely going to be going back when it gets warmer so we can see the city in full bloom. (Beautiful trees everywhere, just all of them are still dead).

When we got there we hit up the Goodwill, and found an amazing pale yellow skillet and a flower plate that look a lot like one my granny gave me only bigger. (I love having all sorts of different vintage dinner plates to eat off of). Then we headed to Anthropologie (I just had to go!) where we bought some amazing floral pants for $20, and The New York Times 36 Hours USA & Canada Southeast book, which includes all the go to places in Virginia, and all the rest of the East Coast. My mom bought me the Southwest and Rocky Mountains one for Christmas, and I absolutely loved it. So I wanted to get the one for the Southeast since we are over here exploring! It was such a great buy too!

After that we headed over to the State Capital building. It was gorgeous. I've never seen a building so blindingly white! While in there we saw statues of "Brothers" (the statue of the 2 men hugging)it was my favorite. In the description it talked about how brothers would actually have to fight each other in the Civil War, isn't that just heart-breaking?

Then we saw statues of Thomas Jefferson and George Washington....and head sculptures of many other Presidents. After that we took a drive down Monument Drive, where the road has tons of statues down the median and gorgeous houses along the sides. I want to go back when it's warmer because I just know when the trees are blooming it will be extremely beautiful! We got out and looked at some of the Monuments and came across N Allen Street (best street ever of course!).

After that we headed to our new friend's apartment, and on our way there saw the light house on the side of a building so of course I needed a picture next to it! Our friends took us out to a pub/burger joint that was located in The Fan (The Fan is the location of all the coolest things to do in Richmond). It was super delicious and a very cool place to hang out and chill. I really wouldn't mind going back! We had a great time! (Wish I could remember the name of the place, oh well!).
