NYE 2014!

I know I'm a little late getting our NYE pictures up! I've just been really busy with work and stuff...blah blah blah. Anyways, we had a great NYE, dancing the night away with our friends, Crystal, Anna, and Lauren! So much fun!

Jacob surprised me with the dress I'm wearing (how sweet is he!) because he knew that I had "nothing to wear", haha. He did such a good job! I thought I would add a pop of color with one of my favorite necklaces from J Crew!

This year is going to be great I just know it! Jacob and I already have a BIG adventure planned, which I will be sharing very soon! I'm super excited!!!

So for NYE resolutions:

-Stick with the only one I made last year, and go someplace I've never been before every year.

-Learn how to cook.

Hard to believe that I was just wearing this outfit a week ago when we had 65 degree weather, and then a few days later we had 7 inches of snow and it's below freezing. Brr!! Jacob and I have been stuck in the house for the past 2.5 days, even though Jacob was brave today and we ventured out to the store for some food (we tend to eat non-stop when stranded and ran out fast). I was sweating bullets the entire ride and refused to let him take us anywhere else. (Driving on ice and snow is scary!) 

We also decided to take the plunge and get Netflix, (which is amazing and I can't believe we've went so long without it!). So the past few days have been filled with watching every season of The Walking Dead and The Hart of Dixie, (haha we take turns with our picks!).

I fell in love with this skirt when I saw it on Asos website. I really am a sucker for anything that is covered in sequins....I am currently looking for some sequin pants but every pair I like it sold out...meh! I thought I would make it less fancy with this cute striped crop top! Definitely one of my favorite outfits to date....wish I had a holiday party to wear it too...and I wish the weather would warm back up so I would be able to wear it!

I have a slight obsession with sequin tops these days, and this one is one of my favorites (along with the sequin anchor tank I just got!). It's so fun, cute, and unique! I love it! I thought I would add a little more to this outfit by wearing a chambray top underneath it. 

And I knew I needed these hot pink pants once I saw them on sale at Abercrombie and Fitch! How fun are they? And you can never go wrong with Abercrombie pants, they have the best fit ever. 

Last night we threw Jacob a surprise congratulations dinner (for becoming a 2nd Lieutenant). We had about 30 people show up for him, it was amazing, so much fun, and he was so surprised!! Yay! I am so proud of what he has accomplished and I can't wait to see him get pinned this Saturday. I love you so much baby!
