This 4th of July is probably one of my favorites because it's the day I finally felt our little wiggle worm kick. Now I'm addicted to that feeling!!! It's like air bubbles popping in my stomach. I love it so much. Our little baby has stolen my heart and I'm just filled with love and excitement about everything!

We spent the 4th just running around town, and then when night fell Jacob took me out into the field behind our apartment and we watched fireworks on a quilt and did sparklers. It was great until the bugs attacked! Then we headed to the grass in front of our apartment and laid there and star gazed for awhile, well I did, Jacob was trying to figure out how to write with sparklers and catch it on camera. (As you probably know he wasn't able to figure it out this time!)

We had to cancel our appointment to see Baby this Saturday because Jacob has drill. But it's okay because now we have an appointment here in Bentonville tonight!!! We will officially know if Baby is a he or she tonight!! Meep! (the reason I scheduled it in Tulsa is so I could visit my bestie while there, but Jacob said he'd take me another weekend so it's all good!)

This is what I wore over my bikini on a not so warm afternoon at the beach. I am totally in love with this sweater from Therapy. First off, representing the best place on earth, America!! But it is also super soft, cozy, and warm. Perfect for late summer nights. This sweater scream Wildfox Couture to me, except at a much more affordable price. Perfection! I urge you to go grab yours before they are all gone!

And these shorts are the best denim shorts I've ever had. I've had them for about 6 years, and they have been worn so much that they hardly exist anymore haha. They aren't really appropriate for anywhere but the beach now days (even though I might be brave and wear them out elsewhere!)

I can't stop listening to Lana Del Rey these days. This song is one of my favorites, and the video is genius.

While watching a video from J Crew, Frank Muytjens says this is how J Crew puts together outfits, it really stuck with me and inspired me to take risks and try pairing weird things together. While wearing this outfit I accomplished just that. I even got a compliment, the girl said, "I just love you outfit, it doesn't match at all but it goes together perfectly!" Haha. I plan on taking this even further in the future.

Jacob and I went to visit the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks here in Fayetteville, and it is so beautiful. I do recommend going if you are in the area! I loved the bridge pictured above, but there are so many other cool things there. I will definitely go back to take my mom and granny!

Jacob and I are leaving for the beach tomorrow, I'm so excited! Gulf Shores here we come! Meep!

Thrifted this Brooks Brothers button-down for only $3, talk about a steal!! And lucky me it was my size!! I was so excited when I was rummaging through the racks and found it. Meep!

I'm totally obsessed with my Sperry loafers. They are perfect and pretty comfortable for shoes that aren't broken in yet! I would wear them everyday if I could. I also love my Kiel James Patrick bracelet that my bestie Crystal June got me for Christmas! How cute is it? Makes me want another!!! I really love this one.

And guess what Jacob bought us yesterday, a new camera!!! It's so awesome, we went and shot with it today, I can't wait to share the pictures with you all!

I've decided to write more about what is going on in mine and Jacob's life on the blog. But this week is floor-set so I have been getting up at 3:30 (ugh!) to be at work at 5:00 (meh!) and we haven't done much of anything when I get home (and Jacob isn't at work) but watch Game of Thrones (we are now obsessed).

We took these pictures last week while out thrifting (found the most amazing gold, sequin maxi skirt), the weather was beautiful but the wind made it chilly so I threw on my old trusty blazer which I thrifted about 5 years ago (still one of my best finds). And you can never go wrong with a nautical blouse and green pants right!?

Sunday Jacob and I finally got a day all to ourselves. We slept in (well I did), and then we ate breakfast, then took a nap (haha), then we decided we were hungry so we got dressed and went and ate, took some pictures, and then did some shopping! Very relaxing and fun day with my love (and much needed!).

While shopping I bought Season 6 of Gossip Girl (sigh, I miss it so much!) and Jacob bought Season One of Game of Thrones. I'm now hooked on Game of Thrones and I can't wait to watch more tonight when Jacob gets off work!

Jacob was pinned 2LT on Saturday! I am so proud of him!! I will post pictures from that day sometime this week!!!
