Clueless.

Photobucket
“It's, like, a totally important designer.”-Cher (at gun point)

Dionne: "Uh, Hello there was a Stop sign!"
Cher: "I totally paused"

"You see how picky I am about my shoes and they only go on my feet"-Cher

"Miss Stoeger, I would just like to say that physical education in this school is a disgrace. I mean, standing in line for forty minutes is hardly aerobically effective. I doubt I've worked off the calories in a stick of Carefree gum"-Cher
Photobucket
"Cher's main thrill in life is a makeover. It gives her a sense of control in a world full of chaos."-Dionne

"Cher, I don't want to do this anymore. And my buns: they don't feel nothin' like steel."-Tai

"I'm not prude, I'm just highly selective" -Cher

Mel: "So, what did you do in school today?"
Cher: "Well, I broke in my purple clogs."

Mel: "What the hell is that?"
Cher: "A dress."
Mel: "Says who?"
  Cher: "Calvin Klein."

“Lucy! Where's my white collarless shirt from Fred Segal? It's my most capable looking outfit!”-Cher
Photobucket
"Do you prefer "fashion victim" or "ensembly challenged"?"-Cher

"Ugh! As If!"-Cher
Photobucket
Tai: "Why should I listen to you, anyway? You're a virgin who can't drive."
Cher: "That was way harsh Tai."
Photobucket
Cher: "Would you call me selfish?"
Dionne: "No, not to your face."

"I was just totally Clueless."-Cher

Clueless has always been one of my favorite movies ever since I first saw it in like the 5th grade (awesome outfits, best quotes ever). Just recently though it has become an inspiration to my wardrobe. When I was in California my perception of what I liked in fashion changed. I no longer wanted to dress like a beach hippy anymore (like every single person there dresses) I wanted to be unique and stand-out. Not only in California, but where ever I happened to be. I wanted to dress classy, preppy, cute, and fun (which is a rarity these days). No more grungy, hippy, belly baring tops and super short shorts......well that's what I keep telling myself, I might slip up sometimes :)

So I actually went out and bought this movie for some inspiration because I always loved everything Cher wore. Especially the outfit she wears when she failed her drivers test (and I totally wish they would have re-done that outfit better, because it would be mine!). Prep-fection!

So when one of my favorite brands, Wildfox, came out with this collection inspired by Clueless I was thrilled!! I wish that it included more preppy plaids, but it's alright, I will live!
