34 Weeks!

 

Blair is the size of a cantaloupe and probably weighs about 5 pounds!!

Happy Halloween!! (a day early!!)

I couldn't help myself, I had to take the predictable pumpkin/pregnancy pictures! I think they turned out super cute, and I love them! Even though my belly is slightly more a basketball and less a pumpkin (well this pumpkin at least)!

We had our 34 week appointment on Tuesday, and everything is going good! I'm even measuring at 35 weeks (a whole week early!!) So it's looking more and more like we might have a Thanksgiving baby! 

Blair is the wiggliest little baby, I absolutely love it. I can tell she's already just like her dad in the way that neither one of them can stay still for more than 5 minutes! Makes my heart happy to always feel her moving, I feel like she is ready to come out and is always looking for a way! But I need her to stay a little longer, so she will just have to be patient!

Blair's Baby Shower #2

 

Last Saturday my best friends through us a baby shower! It was so much fun! We played games, ate, hung out, caught up, and opened gifts! It was really great to be able to just have fun with some of the best people I know. 

I'm really bad at remembering to take pictures while everyone is there, so I only got pictures with my mom, Jacob, and the hostesses. Ooops! Hopefully I will get better at remembering to take pictures during actual events!

Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated with us, I had a blast. Blair is so loved by so many people already and we are so thankful for every single one of you!

33 Weeks.

 

33 Weeks! Blair is the size of a pineapple and should weigh around 4.5 pounds!!!

I have reached the state where every stranger thinks I should be going into labor at anytime now. And then I tell them I'm due December 9th, and they look extremely uncomfortable and try to cover up their previous comments with compliments or other nice questions. It's mostly men that do this, and I chalk it up to because they've never been pregnant and don't know what they are talking about!

 It doesn't really bother me anymore, cause yes, I know, my belly is BIG! But it's okay with me, because my doctor keeps telling me everything is perfect and that I'm measuring perfect. So as long as my baby is growing and healthy I'm a happy mama!

And um, she will be here in about 7 weeks! That's crazy!!!

Jacob and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary last Friday! I totally spaced when it came to blogging about it, so Jacob, I just want to let you know that it's been the best 5 years of my life. I'm so blessed to be married to a man who makes me laugh every single day, who still gives me butterflies, who makes all my dreams come true, and now you are going to be the best father to our child. I can't wait to raise her with you and take her on as many adventures as possible with you. I love you for always.

Blair's Baby Shower.

 

Sunday we had Blair's Baby Shower. Even though the rain kept us from having it outside, it was perfect. Jacob and I felt so much love from everyone and we had such a wonderful time! I want to thank everybody from the bottom of my heart that came and celebrated our baby girl with us! And to those who couldn't make it but still sent their love and blessings, thank you too! We are so thankful for the abundance of gifts we received, Blair will love them all!! 

And to my mom and Jacob's mom, thank you for throwing the loveliest shower!

One of my favorite things we did at the shower was have everyone sign the Dr. Seuss book "Oh the Places You'll Go!" and we had them tell Blair their favorite place they've ever traveled to, and what she should experience when she goes one day. It was so fun to read everyone's answers, and I just know Blair will cherish it when she is older!

And once again, THANK YOU for making our day perfect! I can't wait for you all to meet our baby girl!

31 Weeks.

 

Blair is 31 Weeks! (Well she was on Tuesday!) She's as big as a bag of 4 Oranges or weighs as much as a coconut!

Things I am loving right now:

-She's getting so strong that it's starting to hurt when she kicks, elbows, or punches at times.

-The elderly man who walked up to us at the store and said, "It's a girl huh?"

-Washing baby clothes and the smell of the baby detergent gives me butterflies.

-Her crib being all set up, with a mattress and all!

-Our Baby Shower is this Sunday, I couldn't be more excited to spend the day with family and friends!

-Little baby socks. (They are the cutest things ever).

-Family that goes above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need. We couldn't do it without you. (you know who you are!)

-A husband that tells me I'm beautiful every single day.

Ever since before I got pregnant I have been in love with silhouette maternity pictures. One evening after dinner Jacob said he would be able to take them, so he drug me into Blair's room and took these beautiful pictures. I love them so much. He just keeps delivering when it comes to pictures! I love how he captured my outie belly-button, (It's just too much! Haha). And I love the simplicity of the pictures, such a beautiful way to show off my bump.
