I love this turtle-neck so much, and I got it for $4 at AmericanApparel.com just so I wouldn't have to pay shipping (I try to always find a way to not pay shipping). I went browsing in their "cheap" section and found it and thought I would give it a try! I mean, would you rather pay $4 and have a turtle-neck you may or may not wear, or pay $7 in shipping?.....Exactly. And luckily I ended up loving it! Even Jacob loves it!

And my Crystal June brought me this umbrella! Isn't it adorable!?

Petit Jean Mountain.

 

Jacob and I spent the past few days at his parents cabin up on Petit Jean Mountain. It was so much fun! I love being able to spend time with Jacob without anything to worry about or anything to do, it's so nice!

The first whole day we were there we went hiking down down to Cedar Falls to see the beautiful water-fall pictured above. It was extremely cold and we got wet from being so close but it was worth it! The next day we went hiking on the trail with the Turtle Rocks (don't they look just like turtles!?) and then we went hiked to the "cave" where there are Indian paintings, very cool!

The follwing day we were planning on going horse-back riding but we got snowed in! Ah! Wouldn't have been bad at all if we had bought some food....but we hadn't! Luckily Jacob's dad came to the rescue and brought us some pizza! (It's tough roughing it, let me tell ya).

It was an amazing week with the man that I love, we got to hike, enjoy sunset dinners, and sunsets on the side of the mountain. We got to talk, relax, sleep-in, play, dance, and drink lots of hot chocolate.

 It was also a lot of fun to watch Jacob building a fire....haha, men and their fires!

I love that guy.

 Clueless has always been one of my favorite movies ever since I first saw it in like the 5th grade (awesome outfits, best quotes ever). Just recently though it has become an inspiration to my wardrobe. When I was in California my perception of what I liked in fashion changed. I no longer wanted to dress like a beach hippy anymore (like every single person there dresses) I wanted to be unique and stand-out. Not only in California, but where ever I happened to be. I wanted to dress classy, preppy, cute, and fun (which is a rarity these days). No more grungy, hippy, belly baring tops and super short shorts......well that's what I keep telling myself, I might slip up sometimes :)

So I actually went out and bought this movie for some inspiration because I always loved everything Cher wore. Especially the outfit she wears when she failed her drivers test (and I totally wish they would have re-done that outfit better, because it would be mine!). Prep-fection!

So when one of my favorite brands, Wildfox, came out with this collection inspired by Clueless I was thrilled!! I wish that it included more preppy plaids, but it's alright, I will live!

So lately I've become a little obsessed with plaid, can't help it I just love it! Jacob knew I wanted this blazer really bad so he surprised me with it on Christmas. He's perfect (but you already knew that!) I am dreaming of this blazer with a beautiful gold sequined top, I just haven't found one that meets my fancy yet.

(This post is just full of Christmas gifts from my love!) Jacob also took me to the Coach store and told me to pick out a purse, for Christmas, and the one above was the winner! It's so classic and beautiful, I love it so much.

And Jacob picked out the Arkansas state necklace, with a heart over Fayetteville, our home. It was such a wonderful surprise, I love it so much. This is the place where Jacob and I started out together on our own and I will cherish this necklace and city forever. It's a beautiful here and I will always consider it home no matter where we end up in the future. Even though I hope this is where we end up because it is my most favorite city I've ever been to....(along with Gulf Shores, I mean come on though it has a beach!)
