While visiting my parents, Jacob and I went up on the Mountain next to their house where we used to go hikinig, and watch the sunset, bike ride, and take some amazing pictures. We went up that day to watch the sunset and then just decided to take a couple of pictures! We also spotted tons of deer, and they had a little fawn with them. It was so cute!! And the sunset was beautiful!

Yesterday I got off of work early and Jacob didn't have to work at all. So we spent the day hanging out. We went pretty much everywhere. He got a hair-cut, we go new drivers licenses, we went to some really cute boutiques in town (just to browse), we went thrifting (where I found and amazing vintage vest), we went out for dinner, we took pictures, got ice-cream, then went to the bookstore! Such a fun and relaxing day!

Of course I took some sandals with me to wear while we were walking around the square, looking through stores. But I put these heels on as as soon as it was time for dinner to make the look more "date worthy" hehe.

I got this dress while up in Kansas City at Urban Outfitters. I love how bright it is, and the cut-out in the back is so cute! I'm pretty sure this is my favorite dress, I wear it as much as possible!

Swim Top-Victoria's Secret, Swim Bottoms- American Apparel

Jacob and I went to hang out by the creek one afternoon, and it was dried up!! Blah, bummer. But instead we hopped over to the field next to it and snapped these pictures. It was fun, but the sun was starting to set and the bugs were biting like crazy so we only got a few! But I love them, I love these bikini bottoms. At first I wanted to get a bright blue top to wear with them, but I never got around to buying one. Luckily I had this swim-top and decided it looks great with the bottoms!

The key to not getting wierd tan-lines while wearing a high-waisted bikini? Wear them when you go out on late afteronon or night swims....also wear them when you go to the hot-tub this fall/winter!

Jacob's Birthday! (and the 4th of July)

So Jacob's 25th Birthday/Birthday weekend, was a blast!!! We had so much fun! These are all the pictures from the birthday festivities....

Friday-  (July 1st, his actual birthday) me and him went to this beautiful swimming hole we found, and swam and just relaxed all day, until it was time for dinner. Then we invited a couple of friends over and I cooked, and then we had some of the cake I made him! (Yummm)

Saturday- Jacob's dad brought his boat up and we went tubing all afternoon! It was a blast, we love spending the day on the lake swimming and tubing. Then afterwards we got ready for dinner and met up with a ton of our amazing friends and had another birthday dinner! It was so fun. After dinner we went back to the house then decided to go dancing. Such a great day!

Sunday and Monday- We went to my parents house and they cooked out while we swam all day then we got to shoot fireworks on Sunday and then we went to the park to watch them on Monday. Perfect ending to a great weekend!

While up in Springfield, MO I saw this beautiful necklace, and about had a heart-attack! Isn't it gorgeous? Such an amazing find in a cute little jewelry store, where they have tons of fun accessories. I can't wait to go back! I love wearing short statement necklaces with this baggy white button down, they balance each other out perfectly.

These shorts are super fun, I love the color. Sea-foam green is absolutely the best color ever, obviously ;) I can't wait to come up with more ways to wear them, even though I think it might be a little bit challenging, but I'm up for it!

Just last weekend we had a huge weekend long party for Jacob's birthday, it was so much fun!! I will post up some pictures of it soon!!
