So, instead of doing the norm and going to the beach, we decided to save some money and head down to Pettit Jean fir a couple of days, where Jacob's parents have a beautiful cabin! It was so peaceful and fun just to escape from the city for a few days. I loved just relaxing in the hammock and taking afternoon naps :) We did plan on going hiking on the second day, but my family (including 4 nephews) came up to hang out, so we ended up at the park all day, haha. It was a lot of fun though!

I wasn't able to get many outfit pictures, while up on the mountain, becuase it's exhaustingtrying to keep up with those little boys! Haha! But the weather was beautiful so I broke out two of my favorite spring outfits. The first picture was actually taken while we were still at home, I wore it out shopping and then we stopped on the side of the road and snapped a few pictures. (I'm in love with the sea-foam green shirt)

The second outfit is what I wore on our way to the cabin. A cute anchor sweater with flouncy polka-dot shorts. I love it, and since it's waaay too hot in the summer for the sweater I gotta weat it during the spring!

The second to last picture is of my sister and her son, Kharter. How adorable is that picture!??

Spring is here! And I'm so excited! I spent a great weekend with my mom, we went shopping and to the movies-(we saw Red Riding Hood, and it was very, very good! I recommend it to everyone!) I had a lot of fun :) And Jacob got home from drill today so we went and got pizza and icecream, then spent the rest of the day at the park!

Sailboat Sweater-Forever21, Jeans-Hollister, Hat-Forever21, Shoes-Wal-Mart

Well, I had a blast in the beautiful Kansas City, MO. I can't wait to go back either! I would love to be able to hit up more thrift stores, go to the zoo there, and just explore the whole city!

While there I got to go to a Betsey Johnson store for the first time! Woo-hoo! Lol. She has some of the CUTEST sailor things- rompers, dresses, jackets, tops, and sweaters! I fell head over heels in love with the sailor girl sweater (pictured above)....but the price tag was a little to much for me!! I also just had to try on some of her cute party dresses. They are amazing. They have me wishing that I could go to prom again!

It was also my first time to see a Tiffany & Co. (I was so excited! Breakfast at Tiffany's is one of my favorites!)

Also, how adorable is the sailboat sweater I got from Forever21? I love it! Tiny little sailbots all over it? Had to have it! Hehe :)

Sooo...last weekend was very eventful!! Jacob and I went up to Kansas City, Missouri on Saturday and did A LOT of shopping, (i'm a little obssesed with urban outfitters, haha) and we had a blast! But we left a little early so we could make it to my friend Amanda's birthday party. On our way home Amanda and her fiance Dylan called and asked us if we wanted to go down to Dallas, Texas really early in the morning just to do something spontaneous. And of course we said yes!!

We got to Dallas around lunch time Sunday, and we had a blast. I loved seeing all the art on the buildings, the cute huge robots with the little birds all around them (so cute), the longhorn statues, AND for the first time in my life I got to see real Chanel up close! (Well if looking throught the window counts) I was just in total awe. Everything was so beautiful, the dresses, the sunglasses, the purses, and the Chanel bicycle!! Unfortunatley, the store was closed since it was Sunday so I didn't get to go in and see it up real close. (I sound like a crazy person right now huh?) But hopefully soon I will get too!

So I had a really amazing weekend! And, I accidently left my camera at Amanda's house, and it has all the Kansas City pictures on it. But I will have them soon to share! I really really loved Kansas City and I can't wait to go back!
