I bought these anchor socks at Urban Outfitters. I love them so much!!! They are so cute! And these shorts are the perfect pin-up girl shorts! These pictures were taken at the University I attend, the University of Arkansas.

My love and I have been having the time of our lives this summer, lots and lots of swimming in a swimming hole we found, he even convinced me to jump off some bluffs. haha. I was a little scared at first but it was a lot of fun! Tonight we are going out with some friends to eat then possibly to a drag queen show...which I think will be fun but Jacob is a little iffy! :)

While thrifting the other day I found the most perfect one piece Calvin Klein Swimsuit. I think it will work perfectly as a leotard with my high-waisted shorts! I'm really excited about it. I also bought a sewing magazing on how to make vintage bikinis and high-waisted shorts! So after my mom buys me my sewing machine I will be in business! :)

Revolve Summer Style Guide.

My first outfit, gah....this gold jumper is the most amazing thing I've ever worn, too bad it's like $700 :(



I had the beach in mind when I put this one together! The Erin Wasson jeans with the holes down the sides are amazing and the sweater is so beautiful and comfy....it's perfect for those chilly nights out on the beach or brunch with friends.



How could I do a photo shoot without wearing high-waisted shorts...haha?! I adore these!! This outfit is Jacob's favorite!



I have been drooling over these acne shoes ever since I laid eyes on them like forever ago, and I about died when I saw they had them at the shoot! They are so badass. I love them so much! I wore this Alexander Wang tank-top with a bright pink bra underneath it, which you could see from the back. And the silk shorts are soo classy and comfy and cute!



This outfit is really fun mix of prints. I wore huge turquoise rings with it and a purple stone necklace, which was so beautiful. It was a major mix of stones, prints and textures! And I loved it!

I had the time of my life at this photo shoot. And I love the outcome, I really wish I could own all of the clothes I was able to wear! It was awesome that I was able to style my own outfits and now they are up on the revolve's website for the whole world to see. It's such an amazing feeling! I want to thank Chictopia and Revolve once more for this crazy awesome oppurtunity!!

Alright now, a little but about my outfit, my dress is from a boutique in Los Angeles....it's so beautiful, lace and tulle are the perfect combination....and my shoes are Jessica Simpson! I made my flower crown myself and I think it is perfect for spring and summer, it gives me the feeling of being carefree and fun.

Since I haven't been able to take any outfit pictures lately (my cute photographer is still gone) I thought I'd leave you all with some pictures that inspire me. But early next week I should have a new outfit post!
-And, I want a high-waisted bikini so bad it's killing me! Do any of you have an idea on where I can find one that is not totally expensive?!

gulf oil spill.

What these beaches used to look like, white sand and clear blue water. So beautiful.

The Gulf Oil spill, eats away at my heart. How did they let this happen? The oil is ruining our beautiful beaches, ruining the sea creatures and birds homes, and it is killing these poor creatures left and right. It makes me sick to my stomach.

My love and I have been going to these beaches every summer since we have been together. We have enjoyed the beauty of these beaches and we have had some of the best times of our lives here. And now the sand is covered with stinking oil that is burning in the sun, the water is filled with oil, and it is harming the animals terribly. Not only is it hurting the birds, it is also affecting the deep sea creatures such as the sharks and dolphins. There has to be something we can do right?

If you are not able to donate money or travel down to the beaches to help shovel away the oil or help save the animals...then please do these simple things here to help:

-don't support BP gas stations. If you have to get gas get it somewhere else.
-ride your bike so you don't need to buy gas at all! Or carpool as much as possible.
-please pray for the gulf beaches and all the creatures and people living there.
