The things above are what I wish I could have got while thrifting...haha ;)
-I loved the metal mermaids, but we have no where to put the first one...and I already have a miniture one like the mermaid that's sitting down. Also, how cute is the metal crab in the second picture!
-Beautiful sherbert colored dresses
-All kinds of vintage clothes!
-How cute are the 90210 dolls! Haha, I used to watch that show all the time! I especially liked the Brenda one, her outfit is awesome! Perfect for the 90's. And how cute is it that each doll came with their very own beach wear?

So Saturday, Jacob surprised me and told me we where going to take a little trip up to Branson and go thrifting! EEK! I was so excited :) It was such a beautiful day to take a drive up there and go to all the cute thrift stores. I loved it. After all the thrift stores closed, we headed to the Springfield mall and I got some amazing pieces of jewelry....but I will be showing yall those things at a later time! :)

The past couple days have been absolutely beautiful, so I thought it would be the perfect oppurtunity to show off this beautiful dress. I found it at a second-hand store, and on the tag it said "vintage seventies prom dress" It was floor length but I shortened it to make it more wearable. While I was shortening it, I also noticed that it is hand-made, and that makes it even more amazing. I would just love to know the story of the night that this girl wore this beautiful dress to prom. I love the feeling of giving this dress life again :) From the top of the shoulder down to the wrist is beautiful pink lace, you can't see it in the pictures so I had to tell yall becuase it's so pretty!

I hate how the color of these tights shows up in pictures, I promise they are black not brown! I'm pretty sure I'm never wearing these tights again though!

Also, classes have started so Jacob and I are super busy, so their is not much time to take outfit photos....blah. But we are trying our best to make it happen! I hope you all have an safe and fun weekend!

Jacob told me yesterday that I wear my Litas waaaaaaaay to much.....so for that I am sorry, I just can't help it they are so beautiful and comfortable I really don't want to wear any other shoe! Haha....but I will tone it down on the Litas. Even though summer is coming up and I won't get to wear them....so we will see :)

I got to order a couple of things from American Apparel a few weeks ago, and I got this sea-foam green bow, a dusty rose bow....(which I'm in love with and I need more colors now!), this skirt, and a sea-foam green button-down. American Apparel, I'm in love with you!

While we were shopping around town yesterday, I found some amazing high-waisted shorts with ruffles at the hem, and a huge, gaudy necklace. I loooooove both items so much! I wore the necklace out last night dancing so I will be posting pictures of it soon I'm sure!

Well I'm about to watch Disney's Oceans.....so I'm going to go! Later!

So today started off not to great. I woke up this morning and tried to go to work. But there was no way I could make it, the snow had gotten so bad and I was sliding all over the road, very scary......so I had to park my car and Jacob had to come and pick me up. Blah!!

Well, luckily we made it back home safe! I went back to bed for a little while, and then Jacob, Molly, and Dane woke me up and we all went and played in the snow! It was so coooold but so fun!! We had to use plastic storage box lids as sleds, but I totally worked. Haha. I felt like a little kid again :) The snow is so deep and gorgeous. I love it!

Well I'm going to go and enjoy my break from school and work! Later yall!!

When I saw these orange flourescent pants, my jaw dropped. Then I saw the fuischa heels and I died. Aren't they both so perfect? Seperately and together. I'm in love....head-over-heels in love. sighhh....

As you all probably know I am obsessed with high-waisted shorts, skirts, jeans, and pants, and I have been ever since I was a Senior in High School...... But I haven't had any luck finding high-waisted pants or jeans (except for the one pair of jeans and khakis and disco pants I own) So, I am hoping that this season stores will start carrying them so I can stock up! Especially bright colored pants with print on them.

The major obsession with colorful, printed, high-waisted pants started while I was thrifting the other day, I found the most perfect orange high-waisted pants and they had an amazing white print on them. I was so excited!!! Yet, they were HUGE....way to big to even fix... :( such a bummer. blah.....Soooo I've been day-dreaming about them non-stop ever since.....

And I'm really hoping to be able to get my hands on some soon!!!!

Yesterday was such a beautiful day! We went thrifting and then we went shopping around at the mall in Rogers. Found a beautiful vintage seventies prom dress while thrifting. I cut it short as soon as I got home, and now all I need to do is hem it. It's so gorgeous. Sometimes I wonder how I get so lucky when it comes to thrifting!

I also bought the hat I am wearing in the last couple of pictures. I just had to put it on with my outfit asap, becuase it completed the whole look.

We are about to go hiking so I'm going to go! I hope you all had and are having an amazing weekend!
